| RAW DNG image taken with Leica M8 camera, 75 mm Summicron F/2, manual white balance, of both versions of Leica DLUX series, the former DLUX 2 and the new DLUX 3. Notice that the rear panel LCD monitor screen is considerably bigger in the DLUX 3. Both monitors are displaying a 16:9 aspect ratio landscape picture taken in Wurzburg, Germany. The DLUX 2 crops the top and bottom to give a "letterbox" display, while the DLUX 3's monitor can show the entire 16:9 image. Also notice that the DLUX 2's screen seems more washed out. This is caused by its critical viewing angle problem, not present in the DLUX 3. |
