Pweb,

I really like this shot, I think it has merit. Very nice composition and mood, and your exposure is good too.

I would like to add some advice. I think this image looks even better if you flip it horizontally. I went ahead and tried it myself and to me, and my eye, it flows much nicer. Try it out, it is such a simple change in photoshop and see what you think. Im curious to see what others think here too. Just my opinion and thought, it is just fine the way it is, but I think that change might boost it up another notch, what do you think?

Carl

P.S. Here is a link where I posted in the forums the image reversed (please let me know if this is offensive and if I have your permission or not, if not, I am truly sorry and will delete the post immediately.)

This is an honor, thank you! I'm in very good company...
From the moment I framed the scene and then checked the pic on the back of the camera, this one felt right.

Very nice image. I like this one alot. Great reflection and color, nice composition as well. I like that the grasses extend above the viewers eye level. Great work.

Thank you both! This one puts together several things I've been learning, such as using the light during the "golden hours," putting water into landscape pics, turning away from the sunset/sunrise to see what the light is doing to other objects, using lines and perspective, etc.
It was taken in Raw, so by adjusting the white balance to Shade and doing some other minor tweaking, a good pic became a special one.

There you go showing off again. :O)

I see exceptional balance throughout the image.

Stunning reflections.Beauty in nature.
The time of day lighting is amazing.Perfect timing puts this over the top.

An absolute calm fills the air. Moody. This goes in the favorites gallery. :O)

Nice work.
