I don't know of such a rule. Just search gravestones online and you will find many pictures with names. this is not a nude beach or a "names changed to protect .. " story.
I love the stone. I have seen many and this is one of the most interesting photos of a cemetery I have seen. i also take pictures of cemeteries. haven't posted many here as I hardly take any worth sharing. I'm glad you did. Share that is.

I've never heard of this ethical rule of thumb. By the way, Miss Fairy, not Fair (I missed the Y), died in the early 1800s. I wonder if that rule of thumb is tempered by time?
