Nice photo LRY .Some discussion about RAW format. If you take 1000 or more shots per travel you can not spand 30 min. per each photo on RAW converter since to take an image from binary code. I agree that theoretically RAW can improve very bad shots, but what were the shooting conditions in which the camera works so bad? I think that for most cases good JPG from Canon and in-camera adjusting will be preferable.

Thanks for the feedback David. Overall, I am in agreement with you on the actual practicality of RAW, but since it is technically available (and used to be with earlier prosumer models) it would be nice to have the option. Everyone as you know shoots different and everyone winds up with some number of selects that they'd actually want to put time into printing or whatever. This is why I harp on Canon for a) not including RAW and b) needing to do JPEGs well. As I said, I agree that RAW can be impractical and think that JPEG is largely usable for all kinds of reproduction (e.g., America 24/7's series of US State books are all JPEG and they are respectable).
