I think this is a great sample as it represents a pretty typical point-and-shoot digital subject. This was taken at my brother's law school graduation. The light was bright and a bit overcast. The exposure is is good, color is good, but if you look closely at the palm trees at 100%, you'll notice obvious purple fringing. To be fair, this is pretty common for point-and-shoot digital cameras. This photo is just asking a bit too much of the camera's tiny CCD sensor.
