I really like the warmth of the picture - white balance can be used to make whites not so white to great effect.

For future, the symmetry of reflecting shots (if that's what you want in your composition) would be better achieved by putting the camera as close as possible to the water's surface - that way you get a reflection that is nearly perfectly symmetrical to the original image.

Excellent photo in a place that is usually crowded at any time (I know the place very well , I personally like the colours and the division of the water.

I really don't know what to say....as i consider myself a newby in digital photography, i just got my A75 one month or so ago, all i knew about taking photos were the basics, but what i did found awsome and helpfull with digital is that you can have an idea of the shot you took right away, so you can improve it. Then you just got to have some interrest in the matter and like a friend of mine says: "read, man, read". I really am happy with your comment Almo, i was entusiast about photography, but beliave me you just gave me a great boost, thanks.
As for Pontifex comment, yes maybe i could do better but i am using a raw A75 just as it comes no aditional lences or adapters for filters, i also know i could work the picture in photoshop but i made a statement to myself that every photo i post would be as it comes out. anyway all ideas are welcome, Thank you for your comment.

I love the lines and colors of this image. The lights are just great, and the symmetry almost perfect. I really like the contrast between the lights and the darks. This is a real testament to man's reclaming of the night. This is why I have chosen it as the featured photo for the week.

it really came out very good at that for a first attempt. the picture has a very warm tone to it i might have put a 80 or so filter to cool it down a bit. give it more of a neutral tone.
