Encino California, 1972. A pair of sprinters eyeball each other. The lead rider always is at a disadvantage having to constantly watch over his shoulder for the jump. They ride slowly untill the final lap, sometimes coming to a complete standstill for up to a minute. Modern carbon fiber road bikes are now as light as these 14 pound, fixed gear, steel framed, bikes were.

Thanks OT. I still shoot film exclusively, Ektachrome E200 and Fuji Reala print mostly.

Wow, this really puts me in the Olympic mood. Makes me wish I was back in Atlanta in '96. That was a great event. I only wish I had been into photography at the time.
