A photo of the Sierra Buttes and Sardine Lake, near Sierra City, California. This was posted unedited, at the original resolution. It was shot at the Fujifilm FinePix Z1's lowest sensitivity setting. ISO 64. The detail is excellent and there it's hard to detect any noise. However, the exposure is a bit light. I shot it with -2/3 exposure compensationt to try to hold the sky. Since the camera has no histogram display I couldn't really check my exposure, though. I would have happily given up some shadow detail to get more blue in the sky. But this is what I ended up with out of fear of the lake and trees blocking up. I probably could have made a better image if the camera had a histogram display. It's still a nice image. But it would have been a lot better if I had sky detail and could lighten up the dark areas in Photoshop.
