I find this an extremely interesting piece. Partly, because faces are interesting in general, but also because of the highlighted subject looking into the lens. Colors are subtle and well defined. Picture is sharp and composition is good. As I look at the photo my eyes return to the focal point of highlighted subject. However, the photograph doesn't seem to relay message of sorrow or despair of prisoners. Nice Photo.

The prisoners were listening to a presentation of the Good News and the feelings of sorrow and despair were being replaced by hope and compassion. As a missionary photographer I try to minimize the negative and the poverty of a situation with a veiwpoint of hope and worth. Your comments and insights are well taken though and appreciated.
