I knew it was PS lightning before I looked at the larger image. It's not even a good PS lightning. If you wanted it to look more real, try a few less forks. Math and Sciences should have given you a better equation. I'm grading the image a 5 because the background (original) image is good. Sorry, I don't go for PS trying to look real. Abstract and digital PS is much better.

Very creative Photoshop job. And the photo used behind the lightning I really like!! I also thought this was an actual photo, no alternations, until I read the other comments. But my first reaction was a deffinate "WOW!"

I admit it. I fell like a brick for it. Still it's a neat looking image. An interesting photo of the week.

I totally thought it was PS lighting before i even clicked on it, but that's preaty funny that other's believed it. lol. Preaty good editing though. What gave it away for me was the multi colored lightning. I have never seen different colored lightning, in the same photo, so I didn't think it was real. -nick

Dear PR.com colleagues,

Thank for your rating and discussion. You will laugh but this shot was made without the automatic system and a SLR camera. I was repeatedly torture to take a photo of a lightening but had not success, and after your comments I has understand that this is hard nut to crack even for proffy. I am not professional photographer but only doctor of mathematic and computer science.
By the reason, this shot is whole only result of my experiments with PS (i.e., Filter-Render-Lighting Effect)! Mountain Tavor is real in the photo.
If I you did not disillusion that let's will laugh together.

Sincerely yours.

wow! Very unique shot of lightening! It looks like the shutter was left open for an hour.

Wow! Where we work I have a perfect viewpoint to capature lightning but all attempts have failed except for the camcorder.
Obviously you couldn't leave the shutter open and wait. Did you have an automatic system that triggered the camera for you?
