I'll say it's worth it! That's one of the coolest water drop photos I've ever seen. Having two drops is not only impressive because it's more difficult, but the composition is much more interesting. There's also added tension because of the relationship of the two drops. I really think this is cool and am pleased to see it in the gallery here. Thanks for sharing!
Maybe you can explain how your synchronized the two drops? I'm also curious about the lighting and how you got the liquid to be so dark. This is a whole different photographic world for me and I am ignorant of the techniques used. I imagine most other photographers here are in the same boat as me.

I needed to build a device to dispense drops (I do not see if doing it by hand would ever be possible). The capture is done with my timer (http://www.universaltimer.com/home.html). As far as the lighting, there is a black piece of color paper under the surface of water.
I also like the way the drops have white, contrasting highlights against the black water. This is much better than the average water droplet photo.
