see, now, this is a photo-mom-special - right up her alley . . - more sunsets, more sunrises . . . maybe the whole site could be that and autumn leaves (for a long time i kept getting that 'autumn colors' photo of irina's when i logged on . . . but i was not unhappy!) . . . an occasional kitty or doggy or baby . . . some cemetery photos - p-m likes those too! - photo-mom (note the imperial third person . . . well, i guess that would be first-person . . . plural)

about the angle on the pier . . . i like the way the pier and the clouds make that rather narrow V . . . quite attractive, the way i see it . . . pulls you to the end of the pier . . . into the sky and awaaaaaaayy - p-m
Thanks all, the best thing is I get to see this sort of real life view almost every night of the week just a few hundred meters away from where I live.... But it is difficult to capture it. This was done using 3 images- HDR then tone mapped, even then its a bit of trial and error.
I like the sound it makes when I press the shutter release button.
Congrats on your well-deserved POW! HDR is so much fun - and it, like any photograph is difficult to get the same result twice. This image ROCKS!
