Pt. Hope Alaska is the oldest continually inhabited settlement or village in all of North America.

Life can accurately be traced back to over 3,000 years ago to this one spot of land.

During the mid 1800's the Population of Inupiaq Eskimos in this village was over 10,000 strong.

The whaling companies arrived and through greed, disease & mass starvation only 190 people survived. Today we are 1,200 strong with 800 living in the village today.
