Lots of interesting little details to look at here Larry. Like the clock...the signs..especially the closed sign. The open case is important too. Nice capture...did he pose for you, did he know you were taking it? It doesn't look like he does, maybe hes a good actor too.
Nice shot Larry. I'm anxious to see some of the others. How did you end up doing your lighting? It looks really nice. I'd like to see more of the guitar case and maybe one of him sitting too. I like how this one looks like a street shot more than a posed shot. Good work.
Dana thanks. This is a posed shot. One of about 400 we took last Sunday afternoon. Brian (my son-in-law and Jack's dad) has his first CD coming out this spring and we were doing PR and CD photos. Your right this is a very interesting location one I'll return to soon to do some more detail work.
Brain it went pretty well all things considered. I only used one light the SB800 in commander mode and dialed it down for fill and had an assistant (read my daughter Stephanie) hold the strobe above at a 45 degree angle about 5 feet away. We were after the candid look on this series so hopefully it worked.Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
