I think you're exposure is near perfect and the composition is nice, too. It looks like it's tilted a bit to the right and I think it could use a little post-processing to lighten the shadow areas just a tiny bit. But I think you did really well. What camera did you use and why didn't you use the camera dropdown to associate your camera with the photo? It's always nice to see what kind of equipment people use. If you've got a tripod and a manual camera a photo like this can be a lot easier. You say it's your first time. So I'm curious about how you shot it.
