I agree with your eye on the contrast. I like the soft green curves of the plant against the jagged grey rocks.
What do you think about narrowing the picture up and losing some of the empty space on the right? It adds to the vetical feeling from the mortar and upward growth of the plant. Nitpicky I know but, just a thought.

I like the textures here and the contrasts as well. I only wish I could see the base or bottom where the plant is coming up from. Not sure if that was possible, might have been too far below and then you might have lost that part of the wall with the mortar between the stones.
this particular one was about waist high and I tried doing a couple different angles and this is the only one that didn't make quesy to look at the DOF in the othersbecause of the height was weird...
