This is cool. I like the juxatposition of symbols and the repition of shapes. This works on a few levels, and that's great. It is talks about new and old, waste, decay, and there's a great visual game going on. I also think the tones are very rich and attractive. I love the contrast between the dark sky and the bright buildings, fridge, and what I assume to be snowy ground.

I'm not completely sure about the crop/composition. I think it's good, but I can't hep wondering if it would be better if it was a little tighter. I also feel like I'm missing something with the buildings to the left. It's very possible that this was the best overall compromise. But I'm wondering, so I'm mentioning it. Sometimes moving just a foot or so allows a much tighter and stronger composition.

Thanks for the comment.Yes,it was snowy ground or at least sludge(maybe I didn't expose for the snow well enough, I feel it should be whiter?) As for the crop and comp, the apartment cluster goes on for miles to the left. So I tried to get the most dominant 'group' in the shot. I do agree, maybe a slightly tighter crop would have been better. Thanks for the input, it really means a lot..

I LOVE the shape relationship going on.
