Peaceful. I like the subtlety. I like the way that the elements of the picture blend from cloudy sky/sunbeams/water/people/sand/stones. The people are just the right distance away.
The crop or camera position is very distinctively vertical and it works for the strata.
Thank you for your input lamorena I wasn't sure if I should leave it this crop, or give it an 8 x 10 crop, shaving a bit off the top. Any thoughts on that?

For me, I like the giganticness of the sky area because it helps portray just how immense it is as compared to the tiny things on the ground....like people. The rays of light shining through the clouds helps with the whole "larger presence" theme it has going on. Nicely done
