thanks dana....this was a painting that dave miller and i had done back when i worked for him and the paint started FLAKING off!!! the blue is some of what is left of the original painting. these were some serious paintings and the price tags on them were pretty intense but we never really figured out why some of them just started peeling and others are still fine to this day. i have about six or so from back then and this is the only one that just started losing paint and the others are all fine. this was the very same technique that we used on the dolpins, the humpbacks, the orcas and several other limited editions so it was scary to not know what the heck was up with the occasional one that peeled.

maybe it had to do with what you were smokin while applying the paint..lol
