There seems to have been a lot of processing that occured or something that excessively boosted the blue. The grass has blue in it that does not belong there and the sky has a tone that does not work with the light reflected on the road surface.
The enhanced color changes the image, not entirely negatively, yet I feel it would still have as much or more strength if presented in more natural or a muted variant of this one.
There is a good set of natural leading lines and contrast zone/areas. The contrast could be better (this could be another result of processing).
You might want to consider shooting again at this sight (or similar) and watching your white balance settings closely, try for more dynamic shadows (earlier or later in the day) though these have a certain symmetric presence, and watch for light to fall across the side of the trees facing you to get a bit more range. Another possibility would be to let the light move until the tree were in complete silhouette and then use the strength of the lighted grass, road, and sky to make the picture stronger with less complexity. Road lined by trees are classics and have a lot of variation, they still need good execution and planning to work well. You've got a fair start.CDPrice 'drg' Biography and Contributor's Page
