Beautiful (almost finished) project Mike....take one of the surfer side. They need to hang it so that you can see both sides...very cool. I'm sure the pregnant one will be thrilled with it.
I love the soft golden light. and how it casts intricate shadows.And to take it to the next level...What really caught my eye was the wonderful texture.

thanks y'all! the other side was a disaster dana so i carved a new wave for luke and it turned out fine, it is finished with the carving phase but i still need to paint it. yeah aaron this is one of my beach carvings....it's a great way to hang out and get some nature, watch the surfers, and do a little art work at the same time. thank you again!
