One note for last your photos: check please ISO adjusting I see strong noise on all shots. Recently this was not ?? May be you switch on AUTO or Scene mode??

True, the whole year has been extremely disappointing weatherwise, Rick - but Midsommar (midsummer) only comes once a year - in June and in Sweden it's an occasion for outdoor parties and celebrations which often go on all night. Very traditional, A lot of dancing around the Midsommar pole - a lot of vodka and beer. This year most of the celebrations were rained off. Not quite as bad as the mud bath at the Pop festival in the U.K. but quite depressing. Maybe not so easy to understand for those who live in permanent sunshine.

I think the weather here in Melbourne is better. It is mid winter here now and todays temperature was a cold 15 degrees C, crystal clear blue sky and a warm Sun. I hope you will get your summer shortly or did you get it last winter.

Impressing but a bit frightening. When you are tired of such weather, you may want to have a gun, not a camera. I always thought that all kinds of refreshing drinks were invented by nothern peoples. Nevertheless, even in such weather one can find inspiration. My opinion: you'd better not to merge two images but make to different posts.

In my opinion this posting does not deserve most of the reaction it received. But it is interesting how one picture can produce such contrasting responses.
