Took a trip to the Alaska panhandle. As the evening was getting darker (around 10 pm), spotted another ship passing by in the distance while looking out the window. Took total of 8 shots. 4 with Sony Cybershot H9 (with Zeiss lens) & 4 with Nikon D-70s with Tokina lens.

Although the Sony is feather light & had the IS (built-in stabilizer), when placed on a wooden rail for the shot, the SLR with the bulky lens locked onto the rail & gave a steadier shot.

Thought of increasing ISO (up to 1600 allowable) but chose to add brightness later to give more details. Since the original exposure setting was not very dark, even after enlargement did not show noticeable grain.
