Captain of the Ship

This was posted on Mtbr a long time ago - right after I got back from Moab. That was in the very beginning of November. And scared? You don't even know the half of it. We had to physically climb and walk around sandy ledges on some other bowls to get up there. I was wearing my clipless shoes with worn-out soles. I was scared just being up there. And I didn't even get a good photo of the really scary stuff. You see that red layer up above him? He rode around that and then dropped in. That scared the crap out of me.

I will be back to that spot, with Kyle and Lance Canfield. Lance is the one who scouted this spot. It's his baby. Only he and Kyle have really ridden it. Next time!
