Taken along the Colorado River, near Fruita, Colorado, using the PowerShot A640's digital tele-converter feature at 1.4x. I'm not sure if the digital tele-converter is any different from standard digital zoom, aside from being limited to a few specific settings. But the image quality is produces is pretty good. It may be that it's no better than cropping and then enlarging with Photoshop. But it's a nice feature all the same.
