Poster: Photo-John see this users gallery	I photographed this musician at about noon, in very harsh, overhead sunlight. Both photos were shot in full auto mode. The photo on the right had the flash forced on in order to open up the shadows.

Great example of how fill flash helps out. I've been working on it and it's definitely improved some pictures. I use flash compensation to take the flash strength down 1.0, and that helps as well.
