| An example of the exposure lock control on a compact digital camera. Exposure lock is achieved by depressing the shutter release button halfway.
The photo on the left had the center of the camera aimed at the center of the image. The photo on the right had the center of the camera pointed at the upper third section of the image, making the camera adjust the exposure darker. |
