Interesting subject and I admire your patience. ;)
If we call him (the guy with the instuments) the "blue vertical stripe", the other two yellow and red vertical "stripes" draw my eye away. The lamp post and the woman in red are "brighter" than he is. Even his half of the background is darker. Was that intentional? Do I use too many "quotation marks" in my comments?
