The new Sigma DP1 digital camera, which uses the same 14-megapixel Foveon sensor as the Sigma SD14 digital SLR. It has a 28mm fixed lens - that's right no zoom. If you can think back to the Olympus Stylus Epic, Yashica T4 Super, Contax, and Leica premium compact 35mm cameras, this is the first compact digital to offer the same potential. The key is the sensor - it's a real digital SLR sensor and not a tiny compact digital camera sensor.
