You can't just post something as sick and wonderful as this and not give us any details about how you created it!
It's a fine use of Photoshop. It looks like the original was a good one. So I'm guessing you set out to create something strange and dreamy, rather than using Photshop to salvage a weak photo. I like the last series you posted. I hope you do more of these and share them with us, too. Your photos are some of the most creative I've seen on this gallery.
