Gary you are really out doing yourself the last few days. This is a wonderful rural landscape photograph. I just showed it to my wife as she pasted through the room and her mouth dropped open. My reaction too. Not only is the composition superb with the arc of the rustic old fence but your exposure is fantastic. The snow has great detail and wonderful tones throughout the image make this one that I will come back to often to marvel at. Thanks you started my day off right with this one.Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks very much for the comments. I overexposed by a stop from the cameras suggested exposure, knowing it would likely want to underexpose because of the white snow. (having a histogram to look at helps alot as well) Then, having a RAW file enabled me to tweak the exposure just right later on. I appreciate your time to comment.

This image has a very calming effect and I just want to follow that fence over the hill. You controlled the exposure on the snow so well because it could easily have blended in a bit with the sky had you not done so. Sullivan County has a nice ring to it.

Top notch work again Gary. You should be teaching classes at a University or something. You're skills are the absolute best. You don't need anything like HDR to improve your images.
