wonderfully realized larry!! super shot!! this photo is really understated and subtle but has all of the requirements for being a superb shot. the verticle tree is wonderfully grounded by that wonderful horizontal fence....the tree also serves to provide just enough negetive space to rivet the viewer. this is just really, really nice larry and i hope that you continue to brave the elements! thanks!

I have been photographing this same tree in different seasons and weather for several years. I think I like this image as well as any I have of it. Thanks to both you gentlemen for taking a look and commenting on this image. The 28-70mm is my default lens it is on the D70 most of the time. I have read some mixed reviews on it but I have been very pleased with the performance under a variety of situations.Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
