Thank you gentlemen. I had to crop the heck out of this one because someone was coming up the stairs and deposited their shadow on the wall toward the bottom....maybe they did me a favor.

Another POTD! Indeed you are getting good at this. Nice curve and framing. Is the color that golden or is the white balance a little off? I rarely find that the WB on any camera does very well with these old marble building interiors.

Any detail shots of the banisters or the rest of the building??

Thanks drg....the color is that golden. The walls are a golden yellow and this is just like it came from the camera. I could have lightened things up..but like it the way it was. I didn't take many pictures inside (had two little kids with me..that really slows you down). I will take more time on the inside next time I go back. I have a picture of the outside...not great, but will post it anyway. It's a really neat old hotel.
