I can't see anything that looks like fringing to me. It just looks like there are some edge highlights because of the angle of the sun. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, though.
I think this is beautiful. The composition is so simple yet suggestive, with the tire tracks. Mostly, I love the light. It's perfect. Sunny with a thin layer of cloud to diffuse the light makes the most of the natural colors. It's a magic scene.
