Well I have to say that I do like it better. The image just seems to have a better sense of symmetry this way. As I said this photo brought back some memories for me. My family owned a Gulf station for a few years back in the 70's. I even pulled a few late evening shifts as a pump jockey.

One of the greatest things about photography is it preserves a moment or place in time. I go back and look at a photo I took in the the 60's or 70's and they always bring back a flood of memories. I never, never throw away a photograph. That's why I have thousands in boxes under beds and in closets and two hard drives full.

Keep it up your images improve with each post.

Thanks Dana I'm glad you like it! I drive around for hours on Sundays out in the country looking for stuff like this. I almost passed this one but threw the truck in reverse and hung out the window. Glad you like it and thanks for the comment!!
