i KNEW it!!!! i have used this same technique with slides over the years and love the results that i get. i found a really sharp x-acto knife used with the side of the blade is great for scratching the emmulient off of a slide. if you scratch on the film side it makes lines just exactly like drawing with a pencil. i used to go through the bic lighters like crazy doing this ...mostly to slides that were mistakes for one reason or another. another fun thing to do is to use markers to color in areas...sometimes you can get awesome results......SUPER SHOT!! i hope that you post more of this kind of thing.....thanks
