Very pleasing.The D.O.F is stellar.

The Sigma lense used looks like a serious contender. High Quality Image.Does this 500mm include the 1:1.6 sensor factor .So. In effect is this like 800mm ? {in 35mm film spec.}

Thanks for the compliment Rick. I have been very happy with the Sigma. This photo was shot with the lens at 500mm. The only thing that makes this "like" an 800mm lens is the field of view. The "crop factor" of using a camera with an APS-C sensor will not bring you closer to your subject. For a given lens, the size of the image of an object on the sensor is the same regardless if that sensor is a full frame (35 mm size) sensor or partial (APS-C) sensor.
