When I took this the flash fired about 10 times rapidly.This camera has a very powerful Flash metering sensor that "reads" the subject while exposure metering is being determined. I was about 8" from subject, look at the detail.Usually my flash pics. are blown out at such a dramatic close up.Not so with the Nikon. D80 hurray !
