My first Nikkor lense on the new D80 This is a "G" series lense.All aperture control though camera body.
Very clear, crisp. I'm seeing now Why Nikkor lenses are legendary,known for their quality optics.

This was taken with Halogen lighting. ISO 100. Shutter priority,center weighted average metering.Exposure comp +0.7 step. Captured @ 4 sec. f/11. 18" focus distance.->66mm zoom setting.
