this has got to be one of the very best shots i have ever seen taken from the observation deck ...super composition and great colors!!! sweet!!
in the words of a world famous philospher:
"I yam what i yam and that's all what i yam!"
My girlfriend and I were visiting my friend in NY and as a standard NY tour also includes a look from the observation platform from the Empire State we went to have a look. So we went up in the late evening just in time to see the city in daylight and also at night.
The present picture was taken at sunset (just as the title states) and it is the detail of the railing (the upper part of it). The only thing that I can say is that while every one was looking down I was looking up and I must say that the most interesting things can often be found where no one is looking.
