A little overexposed, a little tilted, and a little too centered. But a nice location and a good combination of subjects. Is that Quebec City?

Are you using your camera's histogram? That's the best way to avoid overexposure and blown out clouds. I always check the histogram after I take a picture to make sure that I haven't clipped the highlights. If I have, I darken the exposure a bit and shoot another one. That's the beauty of digital - you can check it and shoot again.

I would also add a bit of contrast to this. It's a bit flat. Compressing it with Photoshop levels or something else would make it feel a lot more snappy.
