Dear Glenn, I did some reviews on the camera on russian photo sites and wrote reference to our gallery. I think the peoples have interest to photos that were made by the camera. They are not member of the gallery and they can not make the rating or comments.I have many e- mailes from Russia about adjusting the cameras and I answer to them.
Because of my english is not enough I can not post something in our Forum. So, this photo demonstrates low noise, good contrast and colors, and may it help to somebody to solve to buy it. :thumbsup: Did you satisfy?

One question is to you: can you explain me how a photo does become as Photo a Day or Week?

That's one of the great mysteries of our technical age, David.
Someone told me that Photo of the Day is chosen by a computer but I don't really know - on this gallery I wear a black hat not a white one.

( If my memory is still functioning, didn't you submit a beach picture some time ago which not only made Picture of the Week but was highly complimented from above ? )

Thanks Glenn for the answer. I think that main goal to be in the gallery are to look another photos and compare these with own. The second things is to know opinion off diifferent peoples about your works. The third goal for me to show how can to do good shot by the simple camera.
I know technical possibility of many cameras, and do advices to many peoples via my mail who asked me. It very interesting for me, like a photography too. What do you think about and what is your goal in the gallery?

guest,which one is the guest?I think you have the right idea about what certain equipment can do,I have been shopping for newer equipment and I like to look at sample images to see what a lens can do,one picture IS worth a thousand words

Dear vaughn bobbitt, the funny guest was photographer since you can not see him on the photo. For improving the distortion on Wide zoom the WC Raynox 6600 converter

need (it has negative distortion property -1.3%). The camera with the converter gives distortion = 0!! in limit 26 to 150mm zoom). Anoter parameters of the photo quality are beautiful in the photo, you see it.
