If I am not mistaken, the butterfly looks like a Tiger Swallowtail in my part of Eastern Canada. I saw one last week flying up toward a tall tree in a wooded area. Too inaccessible to capture...
I try to capture a few butterfly pics last week but not 1 as good as this one. I like the Sepia color background almost like you superimposed a butterfly onto a B&W image of the plants on computer.
Thanks! This one was bent on getting to these puff ball weeds out at a lake this past weekend, so I had about 20 minutes to watch it and take a photo. If you look at my other photos, there is the full color version of this. I used Photo Studio to give it the sepia background.
