No victims in Haifa, but there are two boys killed in Nasareth (8 and 9 years old) + 12 wounded; + wounded people in other towns (more than 20).
I was in the University today: it is empty. Hesbollah gave us chance to rest a little...

I am over joyed to know that all my Israeli friends are doing ok. It's about damn time Israel stood up for herself. Now lets just hope she has the conviction to go all the way with it.

Yesturday my wife and daughter flied to Odessa on two weeks. Now I am alone with my cat Murr. I put my camera to daughter since during and between the bombing I cannot take a photo.

Dave, I too am glad that you and your family are safe, but I don't agree that Israel had the right to completely destroy Lebanon. Over 900 people in Lebanon have died and a third of them children and many civilians. As I'm sure you know this is a very complicated issue. Arabs are people with families too. Some of my wife’s family live in Beirut and we have no way of knowing how they are. There are five children between our two families there. Many people think this all happened because of the kidnapped Israeli soldiers but I believe this has been planned for at least a year and that Israel and the USA have a bigger agenda than getting back these two soldiers. May this madness end soon.

I understand you and know what you can see on your TV. You can not see what is happened at north part of Israel - just your TV does not show it.
Did you know that on the northern Israel during 6 years - since we leave Lebanon - Hezbollah EVERY TIME send to us rockets? Certainly, no... Why should you pay attention to it?
They at day in civil cloth, but at the night taking their weapon, bombs, katyusha - up to 50 km, iranian and syrian rockets - up to 200 km etc, and they DO the teracts and bombing.
They do not under jurisdiction of government of Lebanon, they have their army, they intendently send their rockets from the places where a lot of civil people live, cause they know that every victim - from the both sides - will be their victory. Israel’s army send an message in advance of bombing - every time - to give the opportunity to civil people leave.
I do not think that any country can allow to terrorists to send a bombs to their children.
Hezbollah is unusual terrorist organization, cause they have near 10000 rockets and own army (near 12000 'peaceful' people).
Last 26 days I spent in refuge, because we have at least 350 rockets on Haifa from Hezbollah. 150 of it were launched from the Kfar Khana, and maybe you can tell to the army, how one can distinct house with rockets and house without rockets?
In total it was more than 3000 rockets on the northern Israel.
300 000 our people flee from the war to central Israel and abroad.
2 000000 worked under bombing. Me too. 1500 wounded and killed.
Besides, palestinians send to us Kassams for 10 years all the time. And those teracts in buses, supermarkets and restaurants...
May I ask - can your 'abstract humanism' explain me, why should I be sorry more of Lebanon people than of my children?
I don’t want to kill the peaceful Lebanians. And no one want. I just want to live by normal life, and not to be afraid of the rockets falling on my head. I want the normal life for my children.
We DO want a peace. But, for this goal we must destroy all the cells of the terrorism in South Lebanon. We do not act against Lebanon, it is against Hezbollah army. And they use the civil people as a protection and provocations.
