It's pretty good, if a bit simple. The focus and exposure are both fine. But the composition and content are a little lacking. I think it needs one more element to strengthen the composition. I'm partial to people in photos. But it could be a bird, a sea lion (it is Ano Nuevo), a plant - something to draw the eye in and make the composition more dynamic. You might also have tried getting closer to the sand and using some of that detail as a compositiononal element.

Overall I think it's very nice. Hope you found my comments useful.
