Image from about a year ago. The same renactment is scheduled for this weekend and got me thinking about the image and I decided I wanted it as part of my gallery. Done before the D70 came into my life. This was done with the Fuji S602Z

Thanks almo. In response to PJ's post in the Critique Forum I said I would try and visit here more often. Just trying to catchup a little.

This was very much a candid shot. I took it after the battle reenactment was over and I could move in closer as the participants were milling around. I had several of this and other particiapants, but this one was the only one where I was able to isolate the principal from the distracting background.

The look on his face is classic. He seriously looks like man distraught over the battle he has just had to fight. You captured that beautifully.

Thanks, these guys take this very seriously. Even though they follow a script, you can't change history, they do their best to be spontanous and react to the moment.
