Thank you Glenn for asking. This was part of a project for cell separation using nano-technology. I was making the plastic layer that where to be laminated at a later stage. The fluids would run between and be mixed in the layers by using special treatment on the surfaces. Other components would placed inside the plastic layers to collect the cells. The layer are very small only measuring a couple of cm.The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means, and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again, since it is life.
