Thank you Eugenia for the good rating. The reason for the adjusting the photo is to make it what I imagine what it should look like and also counter the shortcoming in the camera. I used the following:
“unsharpen mask”, Is use as I don’t introduce any sharpen in the camera. The amount is only a touch and varies depending on the photos.
“Hue” was used improved the contrast by neutralizing the blue haze.
“Saturation” was to counter the effect effect of Hue and make the photo bit more lively.
“Curves” was used to make the blacks area black and the whites white. This sometimes has the effect of changing the hue or tinting the photo. I have used the curves in some instances to highlight objects by changing the shape of the curve (gamma).
I hope this was of some benefit.
