Did you use digital zoom on this one? The image quality is very poor.

I took this with the Sony that is only 2x optical and doesn't have a digital zoom.....I may have moved the camera slightly when I clicked it and she was pretty far away.....just another shot at that instance.

Quality? Do you know what the quality setting was on the camera? I'm asking because I would like to help with the image quality. There seems to be a problem with this image and I'd like to be able to single it out so that it doesn't happen to you again.

I sure appreciate your going the extra mile with me...

The Camera has a "P.QUALITY" setting of FINE and STANDARD..........I keep it on the STANDARD setting......and the SHARPNESS is set to "O"......the EV is also set at "O" (I finally realized what this feature does, LOL!!), but I now use it....harry

If you start using the Fine setting your image quality will be better. With memory so cheap and your camera not having a lot of resolution, there's no reason not to use the maximum quality, right? It still seems like there's something else going on with this photo. It really looks like you used digital zoom. Maybe that's just the quality of the Standard compression with your camera. Please try the Fine setting and let's see how much better it is!

I'll switch the setting to Fine and see if this does the job..The Sony DSC-P51 Cyber-shot doesn't have digital zoom......only Optical 2x.......the quality may have been affected if I cropped it, etc.....I'll submit the original as it came from the camera for you to see........harry
