I think think this is a beautiful photograph. As I know you have others with the same subjects, it is apparent that being at the right place at the right time is is an important compontent to creating good work. I very much like the contrast of the swans with the dark background.
I would have only one minor suggestion. The reflection of the swans and the angle of the indistinct background both give me the sense that the image is tilted slightly to the right. Try rotating the image 1 degree counter-clockwise. Although 1 degree sounds like nit picking, it is surprising to see the change resulting from such a minor adjustment.
